A few days ago, French site PS3 Gen cited a leaked Sony release schedule that put Uncharted 2: Among Thieves down for a September 30 release, and also made mention of a Michael Jackson SingStar game. We know that sounds pretty shady, so put it down as a rumour for now, but don't be surprised at all if it turns out to be true.

Also got word of a Madonna SingStar game (no, not mistaking U2 for Madonna), although a release date didn't come up.

It will be trust me. I'm so glad it has been given an earlier release as it was scheduled to be released at a similar time to MW2, which probably would have seen Uncharted being neglected. By me anyway.

It's a french website which i named in the post. Seemed pointless as it would all be in french. But its now common knowledge on N4G and CVG that a Sony document, citing the realeases of the next few months, was leaked. So i struggle to see why they would make up such a rumour when there is common knowledge either for or against a september release. (on the leaked Sony document)
Therefore on those grounds this seems to be of high reliability.

I noticed last week that Amazon had the release date for the September 29. I actually thought we already knew the release date :S. Ah well.

Nice to see it's probable that it'll be in September. :)

Hasn't been officially confirmed yet but with this news like this and sites like Amazon and Game having it down as September 29th/30th. It seems like thats the date. Can't wait !!

The thing is I have heard naughty dog say that the game was comeing out in forl 2009. Which is in october to december.

Liking the sounds of this, but what i'm not liking is Madonna Singtar. Is there gonna be a side missions where you have to adopt as many children as possible before you die of old age?

Lol. That post by pneboy is the most recent update which states the US version as a mid october release. No conformation of an EU release as yet but ive looked on Amazon.co.uk and GAME.co.uk and they are saying 29th/30th October. Fingers crossed we should get it closer to the american release because a gap of 2 weeks between region releases seems very long compared to every other game which is usually 3 or 4 days.

I don't really mind, September, October, whenever, this game is gonna be absolutely awesome with online play as well. I can't wait for it!
