Uncharted 2 Music

Hi Everyone,

Not posted a message on here for a long time what with A levels and being busy getting trophies for my many games :D

Anyway, back to the post. Basically, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is my favourite game of all time and i'm sure anyone who has ever played it knows why (if you haven't - honestly go out and buy it now it's only about £15 in the platinum range and it's a classic). One of the reasons I loved the game so much was the music, being a piano and cello player myself. The musical score was composed by Greg Edmonson and it does a fantastic job of creating just the right mood and atmosphere for each locale.

I've been hunting around on the internet lately (whilst listening to the fantastic Uncharted soundtrack :)) and i haven't been able to find if Greg Edmonson is providing the score for Uncharted 2. I presume so because i remember reading somewhere that Naughty Dog said they would work with him again "in a heartbeat" and the music used for the Online Beta seemed to be typical Edmonson.

So, I was just wondering if anyone does know who is composing the music for Uncharted 2 and if any of you out there loved Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and its musical score as much as me? :D

I'm not sure if Greg Edmondson is doing the score for Uncharted 2, but i'd presume he would be seen as though as you've said Naughty Dog would work with him again in a heartbeat

I have to agree with you on the score for Uncharted, i thought it was excellent and it got you more involved in the game if you know what i mean :)

In relation to knowing who is composing the music for Uncharted 2 I'm afraid I have no idea but I would have to agree with you on the music used in Uncharted. The music was very catchy and it made the experience as enjoyable as it was. The music really hit the climax of the action and it really gave that environmental feel which made you feel as if you were actually in Drake's shoes. Some may criticize the music as a cliché due to its continual presence throughout the game but I have to say I never felt the music run its welcome and I found it a pleasure to listen to, even to go as far as listening to it on youtube on numerous occasions after my initial completion of the game.

I Loved the music in uncharted to. Espeally the music in the ending credits.

Yes, the end credits from what i can remember is "Nate's Theme" which is used as the main theme for Uncharted (although there is actually a piece called "Uncharted theme"). If anyone wants me to send them sometime it's no bother.

That'd be brilliant mate, i'd love to have Nate's Theme as my ringtone on my mobile, i was just listening to it on youtube and it's really lifted my mood :)
