I got that game a while back - mostly for the headset. I really enjoyed it and played it solidly for about a week or two but this girl I was talkin to let me borrow COD4...and well, I kinda forgot about it.
I tried to play it the other day I'm HORRIBLE now. I wasn't great before but I could hold my own. I just get slaughtered. I have a negative K/D ratio now and everything. I'm trying to get better before the trophies come out =]

A negative K/D ratio? How edo you manage that? Do you mean just under 1 or actually a negative number. Because if it was 1 kill and 2 deaths for example, your K/D ration would be 0.5, still not negative.
Mine's currently 1.39 I think, I'm struggling to keep it that high as it had been a while since I played but I'm getting back into it now.

Yeah. I dunno, I've always called its negative and positive. Cause like, if you have a k/d of .50 then your average is -1.
1 - 2 = -1
I kinda picked it up from playing team games that you could only get points by killing other people. If everyone on the team has a positive ratio, even if it's just +1, you can't lose.

Oh, and I think mine was 1.27 or something. But it's already gone down to like 0.92 from the combination of not being very good and trying to get that 4X4 Bandit Badge.

Try a small deathmatch, be one of the lucky ones to get a jeep and start driving. It's how I got mine. God knows how I'm going to get the warhawk badge for it though.

Yeah, it seems like it'd pay off to know a lot of people who play Warhawk. Then you could take turns killing each other in certain ways to get the hard badges. of course, that would be cheap. but it'd work.

Well how about when we know what the trophies are going to be we all get together to get the harder trophies as that sounds a funky idea.
Anyone got any tips on flying the plan as I have got the hang of crashing well.

That sounds cool, I don't want to do all the harder trophies as it takes away the challenge, but getting a few trophies while playing with/against you guys would be cool.
Tips on flying plane - use pro flight. In the plane settings in controller setting, switch pro flight on, it gives you more manouvreability and allows you to dodge missiles easier, and shake off enemy planes as you move in less predictable ways. Although make sure you get used to it, because it can be quite easy to crash if you don't. I find turning around is much easier with it, and flying upside-down/sideways is pretty fun too.
Use the afterburner when you need to by double tapping r2 - you get a few seconds of boost. You can now also go straight into hover mode from boosting, so if it looks like you're about to head into a wall, you can stop immediately now.

Ah, man. I didn't even know about the boost thing. cool.
And it sounds like a plan with the trophies.

Warhawk is (nearly) death! I played it today and there were no good players at all! only new that just join in! I'm comander but I stop playing because of Air Combat award (I need 50 hours in the plane, I have only 10h). They better hury up with those trophies before every one will left!
What's your(s) opinion

The award based Trophies are retro active, but the others aren't. So if you have completed the requirement for a trophy you will most probably need to complete it again!
If anyone needs tips for Warhawk add me on PSN stating your from here and I will teach ya some tricks that will up your game.
And not to be a jerk but don't you think it's a bit crap if you just get your friends to help you get the trophies? Won't it detract from the joy you get from gaining it by yourself?
