I have been reading a lot of posts with questions relating to these, without any real informative responses. For someone like me who browses internet forums I thought it would be a good idea to bunch all of the tips and questions regarding these two career trophies together.
I have only achieved the Fight of the Night trophy once, but that was on a different career. I'm yet to achieve Submission of the night, and am startled by this as I honestly do not know where I'm going wrong.
Anyway, feel free to post your tips/ stories of success/ questions.
Fight of the Night:
- The first and only time I achieved this was through the advice of an online buddy. He told me this was achieved through matches that went longer than three rounds, and that primarily involved takedowns and close quarter punching.
This worked first go after he advised me of it, however I have been unable to repeat this.
- I have heard taking a fighter the distance has helped some people, however I am yet to benefit from this.
Submission of the night:
- I think most people have heard submitting the opponent within two minutes and thirty seconds is the way to achieve this. My question is how on earth is this possible? I can never drain their stamina that far. The best I've done is a fluke submission in four minutes and it wasn't good enough.
I really need some advice with this, be it a few tips or a complete walkthrough of the process. I would really appreciate it.
- Additionally I have heard if you use nothing but submission moves and make them tap out in the last round, this is achievable.
