The online on this game is SHIT! Be warnned if you want this game wait till they fix this.I played 15 YES 15 matches and anytime someone quits you dont get the win or you get a connection error from their server and the match doesnt count!

Sore losers just quit before you win and it doesnt count!!!! GRRRRRR!!!!

This game would be so perfect if they would fix this crap! Day 1 and the top leader boards are covered in people with 150 or 180 wins???? I mean come on.


Sorry to sound so pissed but screw this. i have played well over 60 games online and NEVER had a problem and yes my connection is fine. My brother down the road is getting the same crap.


This is the message youll get just out of no where :: A Connection error has occurred during the match. This match will be invalid.

Sigh..........

thats blows man...if there is a patch which comes out b sure to update us please, cause i dont want to buy this and the online don't work that would completly piss any1 off.

oh well, i'm still getting my copy tomorrow from shopto, they'll probably patch it sooner or later, i'll just avoid online until they fix it

If you can even do that. I dont see an invite option. I am pretty sure there is not one for ranked. Also its not just the quiters. The server is crap. Your game will freeze for a few seconds then when it unfreezes your on the ground in a sub battle or getting your ass knocked out with blows to the head when you were just winning a few seconds before it froze!


Now the game itself is great.....however once you play 50-60 fights or so you get bored which is why you wanna play online right? well wrong you cant. And if you are able to then your lucky. I have played at least 25 online matches and my record is 2-2....thats how bad the connection errors and quitters who are affraid to get a loss are.

So be warnned.

Seeing as nearly every game released nowadays has an online feature, it's absolutely criminal that developers still release games with this problem.

I got through 2 games online yesterday with no problem except for the lag.. I might have to try playing through ethernet connection as it makes it difficult to block and counter when you don't actually see the punch or kick until after it hit.. No problems with my actual connection either, I think it's just the Ps3 wifi that blows :(

Its only going to get worse when more people play it.

Lag here and there otherwise servers been fine until 5 minutes ago says cant do anything.. so ill just reload the game.

It's in the create a game mode. Change the settings to private, once you have selected your player press 'start' and you then invite, you select the friend you wish to invite and press 'start' again and wait for them to join.

Calm down dearest, it's only a videogame.

Your connection problems seem horrific, I've been dc'd once in all my games, I'm on a 5-7-0 at the moment.

Mate, I dont think there are many games that let you invite someone on ranked.

Needs sorted soon as. I'm not bothering with online anymore until it is. I'm 11 5 0 but should be 16 5 0 if not for dirty quitters after you knock them out.

This is really becoming ridiculous, I should be 10-3, but too many arseholes leave before the game and it becomes invalid.

The lag once the USA (no disrespect intended) wake up seems unbearable.

alot of the time if someone quits at the end of the fight it comes up saying the fight is invalid but sometimes the amount of wins you have has actually gone up one i noticed this after a while get sick of people quitting on me scared to lose whats the point in pretending you are better than you are

so yeh quiting basically doesnt affect your losses which is an error but if they have quit alot of time the winner does take the result
