Where to farm?

Hi everybody,
Finally my copy arrived today been playing for a good hour or two the controls are very easy to get to grips with and I haven’t even beaten boss 1-1 yet but I got as far as the red dragon the died (tried quitting game before auto save but it caught me).
Anyways I plan on playing a bit tonight and tomorrow and thought I’d make a topic to get some replies tonight, for where I can farm and rack in souls exp.

Edit: I am a solider and still have basic equipment with some of the equipment from near the red dragon nest, and i also have the ring for my life.

During the first level, you will just have to keep doing the level again and again... And make it back to your bloodstain if you die. You cannot level up until after killing the 1-1 demon, so don`t worry too much about farming now.

I beat boss 1-1 last night using about 13 of those 400 soul weeds (which you get free), I ran out and just managed to finish him off using melee on him and running LOL.

I know I shouldn't worry about farming but I want to level up a lot now for the next boses and so i can buy better equipment and so forth thats why i ask
good farming spots for levels x - x

My favorite place to grind was the Shrine of Storms. Each skeleton you kill will give you about 300 souls. They are tough so you can first repeat Boletaria 1-1 a number of times to have enough souls to invest in some weapons and equipment. (Each time will give you between 3000 and 4000 souls if you kill everything in 1-1 except the Red Knight close to Doran`s gate).

Other way of grinding that I like is using multiplayer. Get and use the Blue Eye Stone and you can be called into other player`s world as a Blue Phantom, and you will get souls for helping them out with their bosses and such. The good part is that if you get killed you will not lose your souls when you are "kicked back" to your world. (Unless you are killed by an invading Black Phantom!)
