Can anyone tell me if this game is worth buying?

There are no reviews in for the game at the moment as it is still a while of release. http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/ufc2009undisputed

Just play the demo and if you like it (which you should) then buy it, if not, don't.

I played the demo and i thought it was excellent. I just don't know if it will get boring after a while.

On this game I would prefer to hear it from the horses mouth. Most members on here like it and on several forums.

I personally think it is great. I just hope that it is stable on line.

Well, I am finding it a little boring now and the career just seems to go on and on for ever. There only seems to be a handful of submissions you can pull off too

The game is fun. It is just the first game in what is probably going to turn into a franchise. With that said there are some flaws, but nothing to take away from what the game is supposed to be.

Graphics - 9

The graphics are impressive for the type of game this is, especially in the ground game. There is no clipping at all in any position you may find yourself in. The fighters look just like their real life counterparts, and behave similarly.

Gameplay - 10

Who doesn't like to punch a guy in the face and watch him fall over stiff as a board? The KO's do seem to come with little to no effort vs. the CPU, and submissions are a little tough to finish, but in the end it is satisfying to pull off either. The career mode is enjoyable, but it gets cut off after so long (7 years I believe) and you are forced to retire. This is just to keep CAFs from being superman powered.

Sound - 9

The voice overs are great. In a lot of games like this you will start to get annoyed by the repetitiveness of the announcers. While they do say some things often, it is mixed up really well. They will talk about real life fights, they do really well when calling out moves, and they even mess up sometimes to give it a nostalgic realism.

Replay Value - 8

With over 80 fighters spanning 5 weight classes, and 6 different fighting styles, it is really hard to get bored. With a decent CAF system, your possibilities are only hindered by your imagination.

Online - 5 (Until the patch)

Online sucks ass at the moment. There are many server issues that produce a lot of lag, causing many matches to be unplayable. I personally have had no problem with this but many have. Quitters are ruining the online community for this game. Many people on various forums are complaining about it, and some are refusing to play online at all for this reason. I have had a lot of trouble with as well. I am 1-0. I have played at least 10 matches, and won them all. That is a pathetic 90% of my matches not counting because people quit if they are going to lose. There is a patch in the works to fix these problems, but the release date is unknown at this point.

Hope this mini-review helps some of you.
