"Noel Gallagher needed hospital treatment after being knocked over during an Oasis performance in Canada when a man stormed on to the stage.
The Oasis star, 41, was playing his guitar during the band's hit song 'Morning Glory' at the V Festival in Toronto when he was shoved. Security guards also piled on to the stage to halt the scuffle, with Liam Gallagher, who had been mid-song, also in pursuit. The band left the stage, but later resumed their headline set."

so basically some random guy that doesn't like Oasis, decides to buy a ticket to a concert, listen to some of their songs, then go onstage and attack Noel?
That's just pure ghey-ness...

But being the icon that he is, Noel came back on stage minutes later, and Oasis finished their set.

I have been reading about this on the Oasis official website and the guy who did it was a complete idiot.

Also I hope they are able to progress with the United Kingdom leg of the tour because I am going to see them in Bournemouth on Monday 20th October.

looking at the video and it looked quite harmless, apart from Liam running in ready to give the bloke a beating! The Gallaghers are a hot headed pair, they probably had the security detain him until after the set so they could give him a once over, I know I would have.

Hehe, that was pretty funny. A push in the back could`ve given him a bit of whiplash and a few bruises (depending what he landed on) but that's about it.

I have just been reading on Oasis' official website that he didn't have any fractures like some news outlets were reporting.

It is just bruises to his hip and ribs and the gig they were scheduled to play on the 9th September in London, Ontario, Canada has now been rescheduled to the 15th December.
