I'm thinking of pre-ordering this game from either play.com or game, but each have different incentives for £39.99
play.com = mini strategy guide, i don't think i'll even need this
game = 2 fighters dlc, ryan bader and efrain escudero, i don't think these guys will match up to the likes of chuck liddell, forrest griffin and whatnot, so are these pre-order incentives worth it?

I would go for the strategy guide but that's just me. I thought the demo was boring and the graphics I felt were shoddy so I won't be buying it. If someone had me at gunpoint and forced me to buy the game though I would go for the guide because they're always helpful in parts you wouldn't have expected.

Can pre-order it for £34.99 with free UFC Event DVD from www.shopto.net, so is the DLC or mini guide actually free....Seems like it costs £5 to me?

Also could sell the DVD on and that'll bring the cost down further...I know which pre-order option i'm going with :)

yeh with game it is free, and the content is two fighters, Ryan Bader and Efrain Escudero. Both are winners of the The Ultimate Fighter in 2008, therefore their late addition to the game.

Cant wait, the game has over 80 fighters! Not too bad.

Yeah I know who they are, I've been following MMA since its NHB inception back in 93, and have been training in Jiujitsu & MMA for years!

My point was that its £5 cheaper on 'Shopto' (£34.99, not £39.99) so the DLC or mini guide is not free with 'Game' or 'Play' as they state, it costs you £5!!!
And then you could sell the DVD that is free with the 'Shopto' offer and you then get the game for under £30.

Play.com will reduce UFC to £34.99 as it gets closer to release. They always do.

If I was going to pre-order this game I would definatly pre-order it from GAME just for the two extra fighters you get if you do.

no point in buying from GAME and here's why...

look at the small print, it says:

"Downloadable content will be available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network after 90 days post release of UFC 2009 Undisputed in the UK."

so you may aswell get it from shopto.net for £34.99, cheapest price out there, and a free DVD
