was playing the mission where ur supposed to retrreive the package after its stolen from u, so the van start following me, i reach the location i need to be, and screen went black, i thought it was a cs (took me so many tries 2 get thr...) and thn instead of a cs, i c my wallpaper and xmb.... so i executed the game again, and it threw me bak to the very begining of the mission... (right after the church....).

im giving up on this game... i can beleive vin diesel is in this peice of crap.....

I was on a hot pocket mission when it suddenly crashed, the screen became green and brought me back to XMB. I checked the game data utility and it became a corrupted data. Had to delete and reinstall it again.

Good thing with sandbox-type games, I'll always save after every thing so I just resumed where I left off. So just to be on the safe side, save,save and save.

I've had it happen to me a few times. Once where you said (not impressed) but also when doing side missions. It froze once I did my final side mission! I heard the trophy ting, but I was *beep*ing myself when I had to reset it. Luckily all the trophies had unlocked, but the weapon caches didn't. So now I have 47/50 forever on my record. Oh well...

Hmm,had another one. This time, doing the Chulos battle and the part where you have to kill.....that guy....on a bike.I was chasing him,I know I'm still chasing him but suddenly, the Mission Completed screen popped out (wth?), I got the trophy for that (ok..) and then,back to XMB (wtf?).

The moment I get all the cats and the plat,I'm trading in this absolutely rubbish game and it's disjointed plot and terrible sides.

I had another weird one on a second playthrough. On the one where you have to chase the guy around the bull ring for 5 minutes it for some reason just went "Mission Completed" straight away. Not complaining, but just strange...

I have another problem, i have rented this game but was fed up with it. I tried to delete the game data but it wouldnt delete it completely. I now have a corrupt piece of data (that used to be the wheelman install) on my PS3 and cant delete it. Anyone got any ideas how to remove it?

this has happened to me twice.. i contacted Ubisoft... which you should all do or they wont try and fix it... here is my reply;

We have no known issue like this on this game.

Please try the following to see if this helps you in any way.

Remove all peripherals that you do not need for the game from the console.

Delete all of the systems internet cache. To do this scroll along the cross media bar until you reach the 'Network' tab, now scroll up / down the list until you reach the 'Internet Browser', highlight this and press X. Once you browser opens press the triangle button once, from the new menu highlight the 'Tools' option and press X. Scroll down the menu until you reach 'Delete Cookies' and press X. Confirm the files deletion. Repeat this for 'Delete Cache'.

If this does not resolve the issue then we would liek to suggest that you contact Sony, to see if they can help you on this.
