I've been a member of this site for quite a while, and I'm from Canada. I like the site a lot, there are a lot of really helpful and great people here, but being based in the UK I feel like I'm kind of being centered out. This is not a complaint, I understand it completely because it's a UK site and I don't have to participate if I don't want to. BUT I found a US site that is seemingly in beta, but contains up to the minute news about PS3 (and ONLY ps3 :) ) So if any of you people from North America (The continent hahaha) feel like you're in the same boat as I am, or anyone from around the world just wants to join a new PS3 site, head on over to http://www.ps3center.net (http://www.ps3center.net/forums) and join up. You'll see right away how fast their news posts, it's one of the things I like about the site. :)

OH, and if you plan on joining, write tonzie as your referer if you want. If you don't want to it doesn't matter, but if you have a couple extra seconds, it couldn't hurt.

I hope I enlightened a few of you. :)

Also, this thread is not meant to hate against or show anger towards PS3T.co.uk, I love this site and always will, you guys were the original. :)

I hear ya Tonzie. The timezone difference for setting up online games is a real pisser.
I'm gonna pass on that site though. It sets off a 1autocity.com warning with every page.
Add me if you're up for the odd online session.

i'm from the west coast of canada. so i must agree, the timezone is brutal. often a 7 hour difference... i'll check this site out. thanks for the heads up

Man, it sure as hell looks a lot nicer than this site, lol. This place could sure use a makeover.

But eh, I can't leave. I always want to though because of the time zones and such. I want to play with people but it's always near impossible. For some reason I feel attached though.

Well we've got plans for that ;) hopefully once they're done you won't feel the same way.

Also, I hear what everyone is saying about timezones etc. We are a UK based site but we have members from all over the world. If you would like we can try to incorporate some features to help with matchmaking etc... we're going to have a few features that are relevant to members being from diff. countries but if matchmaking etc is a problem, we can try to build some stuff into the new design which helps to solve these issues.

Any ideas anyone has got, post them in the feedback section - believe it or not, we do read each and every one and nows the time if you want to submit ideas to make the site better.
