What Is XI?

On the heels of the GDC, Sony has quietly integrated a mysterious feature into Playstation Home. They announced it on the official Sony Blog (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/03/23/xi-has-begun/), but provide very few details.

The only thing we know is that it's an alternate reality game (take that for what you will). It's called Xi, and the graffiti for it is hidden in various parts of Playstation Home. Sony has released an official forum as well (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=homexi&thread.id=1).

Has anyone tried it yet...What is Xi?

They're for teleportation cause the option to select them is teleport. But where will it take you when its ready nobody knows. But XI in roman numerals is 11 if that has any significance

to be honest, people have been goin on bout this for ages. Sony have drawn this Xi thing out for too long now and i for one just don't care wat it means now, we all kno watever it means it will be a dissapointing let down.

You have to teleport, and you get to a new space, in which you have to fullfill some (rather strange) tasks.
It will be updated from day to day / week to week (not sure what that means)
If you need help with the tasks or something, just ask..

The letter as it appears in the image it refers to the greek letter Ξ (xi) (pronounced ksi.) It's the 14th letter of the greek alphabet

I'm really weird of what this letter stands for...

Now the space is finally open to explore and follow the mystery more. It's believed the main story behind this is that old alpha testers are now hacking into restricted Home areas. It's pretty interesting.

I've just finished the first set of 'missions' and I've gotta say it looks pretty fun
Definitely the best thing they've done with Home yet, it'll actually give us some stuff to do instead of just running around doing nothing

Home isnt bad. The idea is quite good but the execution (along with how the trophies have developed) just isnt up to scratch in my opinion.
Why do Sony insist on letting us all know soon we'll be able to show our trophies on a little cabinet in a virtual space?
In my opinion the people who are serious about games and collecting the trophies don't spend endless amounts of time on Home and I for one really dont care if I have a trophy cabinet on Home! GIVE US DISCOUNTS AT THE PLAYSTATION STORE SONY!
Surely it won't be that difficult to implement? Depending on your trophy level or Platinum count you get say 50p off something per level etc. Does anyone agree?

Honestly the trophy room on home I think will be brilliant to actually see trophies first hand disagree with the ‘give us credit for the psn for collecting trophies’.

Did you find all 3 papers?
If so, then you'll have to unregister, and then enter again.
I've had this to.
The programmers of this space say there working on a fix, but If you can't wait, you can try to unregister.

Haven't tried this but it sounds quite interesting. Always liked puzzles. BTW does anyone know if there has been a release date for the EA Sports space coz that looks EPIC.

I may be a week late getting to Xi, but having great fun completing these puzzles!
Never thought HOME could have a setup like this and the most we'd get was stuff like the Uncharted space codes and arcade games.

This is a great site with Xi walkthru's that doesn't just give the codes, but actually explains how to get to that answer for anybody who wants to solve a puzzle themself but is stuck at one part (say the 4th postcard or something).
