Besides gaming in general, what other hobbies do people here have?
You a sport player, fan? Are you secretly a sewing genius? What does everyone else do in their spare-spare time?

If I'm in the mood, I occasionally enjoy living my life through a lens, be it film-making or photography, but lately I've not really done much in those regards.
I love drawing and writing, but have trouble getting started with either...
I enjoy being creative in general I guess, whether its through words, art or music...
I'm starting to dislike going out, maybe it's my old reclusive self making a comeback, but I'm genuinely starting to think a hermit's life is the life for me (I don't generally get lonely or miss people when I'm on my own, so am I really a recluse? meh!), so going out and getting wasted certainly isn't in my extended hobby list.
Playing practical jokes on friends is another of my passions.... here's an example:
My guitarist had gone to work, and I was really bored so I stuffed a load of his clothes and made a life-size human, then put it in his bed and covered it with the blanket so it looked like someone had gone to sleep in his bed, then I set up a video camera behind some books in the corner of the room...
Next to the mannequin I scrunched up some toilet papers and an open issue of NUTS (or some other lad's mag) on the porn adverts in the back...
Anyway, he arrived home so before he went upstairs I stopped him and said "I hope you don't mind, but Toby (a drummer friend of ours) came over earlier, and I don't think he went to bed last night, but he's crashed up in your room...".
He didn't seem to mind, and went upstairs whilst I tried my hardest not to laugh...
Anyway, he came back down about 30 seconds later with a horrified look on his face, but he didn't say anything... finally I succumbed to the urge to laugh my arse off, and he realised it was a prank... oh how we both LOLed!
I used to get up to that degree of mischief all the time... it's long overdue for another prank!

Well, work (for both me and wife number one) falls firmly into the skilled labour category so not work time tends to be full of 'sofa time'
whether that be catching up on previously recorded TV (I still have the entirety of Heroes Season 2, Hack Season 2, the end of House (S3), the end of Shark (S2) and a fair number of movies to clear from the DVD recorder)
or gaming with the wife (just gave up on Alone In The Dark Wii and are currently a skip away from completing ObsCure 1 again with ObsCure 2 in the post)
or surfing the net, checking the 6 email accounts and writing to the 3 blogs and trying to catch up on various web comics while wishing that Pandora (http://www.pandora.com) would get it's UK license
or completing the games I never quite got round to (currently Fahrenheit, ZOE2, Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess and Wind Waker and, yes FFVII)
or 100%'ing the games I never quite get round to (House of the Dead 2, Umbrella Chronicles, Onimusha 2, Timesplitters 2)
or (dagnamit Sony) working on getting just one more trophy.
Not counting the reading on the commute
Should me and the wife go back to normal, day-time jobs, it's very likely we'll get round to adding the following back into our lives:
climbing
ballroom dancing
scuba diving
socialising
And, of course, I've just received the box worth of course materials for the Open University course I thought would be a good idea a couple of months ago ...
Sometimes, I even sleep
